7 Hand Holds Per Panel

We provide seven holds per panel. We have found that an average of seven is optimal for school walls because it provides plenty of holds to meet your programming needs and serve a wide range of ability levels while keeping the walls affordable. Our holds are color coded to allow for multiple climbs to be set up at the same time and to differentiate between handholds and footholds. Although resin holds are still available most of the companies have switched to urethane holds. Urethane holds are str0nger and longer lasting than resin holds. We recommend Urethane holds.

Landing Mats

Our mats add a level of protection during climbing and work to secure the wall while not in use. The locking two strap system prevents kids from climbing under or over the mats. These mats were custom designed to work with the Vertical World security strap system. We provide the highest quality 3-inch mats available. The thicker mats increase safety and ease of use.

Mat Specs:

Meets and exceeds ASTM 1292-04 standard from an 11' fall height.

Material: 2.5" High density open cell foam with 1" high density closed celled cross foam linked polyethylene, covered with an 18 oz vinyl shell.

Dimensions: 4 ft x 6 ft, and 3 1/2 inches thick.

Colors: Available in blue or black.
